Our cooking school is founded on the mission that everything we do is based on our heartfelt belief that cooking and serving good food is an act of love.
Our Mission
Jan’s on 4th is a family-owned and operated cooking school and catering service. Established in 2006, we are located in a renovated 100-year-old adobe home in Albuquerque’s North Valley.
With every meal we prepare, every class we teach, every cake we bake, our desire is to touch the lives of people and try to bring happiness into their lives in some small way.

Chef Jan believes that cooking can better the lives of everyone by providing the freedom to create a healthy home-cooked meal.
She and her husband, C.E., opened Jan’s on 4th to share their love of cooking as a cooking school that focused on teaching cooking as a life skill.
Today, they offer a variety of services including cooking classes, catering, a custom bakery, and personal chef meals.
